Queendom of Sound (I Love Music) Radio Edit
A 1 track jazz-funk single (3m 58s) — released July 29th 2025 on Brotherly Music
Queendom of Sound (I Love Music) is the fifth single to be released from Kinzoogianna's upcoming album 'The Clique of '86', an autobiographical concept album based on characters and music from mid-80s UK.
Taking inspiration from Ahmad Jamal and Nas, the character Queenie seeks to take Hale Smith's 'I Love Music' to another level with her vocals, drum programming, organ, flute and string arrangements. Flaunting a grandiose, Bassey attitude, Kinzoogianna lays down her own stories about her love of music; 'The Kings of the Keys kneel down to my Digit Queens', a reference to her pianistic prowess, and 'Music, no-one can break my love of music, no-one can take my heart and bruise it, in my Queendom of Sound that I have found'.
With the exception of Rob Mullarkey's incredible bass and mix engineer contribution, Kinzoogianna has fully produced and performed this jazz hiphop Badu-esque masterpiece.
