Crouch Hill Blues

A 1 track jazz instrumental pop single (4m 41s) — released July 15th 2022 on Brotherly Music

Kinzoogianna AKA Anna Stubbs from ground breaking Nu Jazz /Broken Beat band Brotherly, presents her debut album as a multi-instrumentalist , singer-songwriter and producer.
'Gold For The Hungry Souls' is due for release in August 2022 and features Rob Mullarkey and Richard Spaven on bass and drums, and is an epic nu-jazz soul collection of nine quirky and memorable songs, with hooky unexpected grooves and harmonies.

Crouch Hill Blues is the 6th and final single release from the album. Conceived on the W7 bus on the way home from Finsbury Park Station in North London, Kinzoogianna is reminiscing about all the parties (blues is a term from 70s West Indian culture for a house party). It has a retro 70s TV theme feel about it, and the build up is brought to life by Rob and Richard in that on fire rhythm section. The outro was a real life event getting off the bus and bumping into a good friend. It has the usual London atmospheric sounds of bells, traffic and sirens.
